Grieg Hutcheon
Saltire Energy has sponsored Professional Golfer, Grieg Hutcheon for seven years. Of his sponsorship, he said:
“Saltire Energy’s sponsorship has made a huge impact on my career. It supports will the many costs involved in professional golf: travel, accommodation, entry fees and caddie’s wages. The massively reduced pressure from a funding perspective has enabled me to achieve some great results; I’ve made the cut at Wentworth in the PGA championship three times, four consecutive times at Scottish Opens and twice at Welsh Opens, all on the European tour. In 2017, I’m representing Great Britain and Ireland in the PGA cup match versus the United States of America, which I also did in 2013. Domestically, I’ve won the Tartan tour order of merit seven times and achieved over 30 pro-am wins.
“I’ve seen first-hand the level of preparation, inspection and testing that Saltire Energy tools go through prior to the delivery to oilfields around the world. I’m proud to wear Saltire’s logo.”
Ross Cameron
Ross has been supported on a long-term basis by Saltire Energy:
“I’ve been fortunate to have been sponsored by Saltire Energy since 2005. Saltire’s support gives me the opportunity to compete in tournaments that I wouldn’t be able to fund myself. It has been invaluable in giving me the chance to build my career.
“Saltire’s CEO, Mike Loggie is as ambitious as myself – and very honourable. The support isn’t just financial, but moral also.”
